Boys State for Juniors
Held at NSU near the start of summer the premier program for teaching how government works, while developing leadership skills and an appreciation of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
HOBY for Sophomores
Held at SDSU a four-day seminar that allows high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace, and community.
Empower Youth
For Freshmen and Sophomores.
The program includes a one-day leadership and networking workshop in the spring and fall. It also includes a three-day, expenses paid trip on the South Dakota Youth Excursion to North Dakota in July
Voice of Democracy
If you are a democracy-loving high school student interested in a $30,000 college scholarship or a patriotic middle school student interested in winning $5,000, these scholarships may be for you.

Youth Business Adventure
YBA is a week-long business camp for high school juniors and sophomores. Students that have completed their junior or sophomore year in high school are welcome to apply to attend YBA.

The program honors middle level and high school students for outstanding service to others at the local, state and national level. Scholarships range on the local, state, and national levels.
